Help for installing, opening, analyzing, and understanding Marlee Recover.

Open Marlee Recover

Marlee Recover is an embedded Shopify app. Open Shopify Admin, choose Apps, then open Marlee Recover.

Run an analysis

  1. Open the Dashboard.
  2. Choose Analyze store.
  3. Review prioritized open opportunities.
  4. Use Settings to adjust minimum value, high-value, age, and lookback thresholds.

The Shopify staff account running an analysis must have permission to manage abandoned checkouts.

What the numbers mean

Potential revenue is the value of qualifying checkout opportunities that Shopify still reports as open. A conversion observed after tracking means Marlee first observed the checkout while it was open and later observed Shopify report it as completed. It does not mean Marlee caused the sale.

Troubleshooting

  • If analysis cannot access abandoned checkouts, verify the Shopify staff permission.
  • If the embedded app does not reopen normally, uninstall and reinstall it through Shopify.
  • Do not send customer payment information or Shopify access credentials in a support message.

Uninstall and deletion

When Shopify notifies Marlee Recover that the app was uninstalled, the app deletes its shop-scoped settings, recovery opportunities, sync history, and stored Shopify sessions. Shopify's shop-redaction privacy webhook uses the same deletion contract.
